Dear Fraternity Members,

DTU-DCE Fraternity Forum wishes you and your family a very happy, healthy & prosperous New Year- 2022. May all your wishes come true in this year!

As you may be aware, DTU-DCE Fraternity Forum is a forum of alumni, students and faculty and provides a platform for networking, interaction & exchange of ideas on technical / managerial issues, personal & professional growth and extending help to each other and take up issues of common interest. The Forum has received overwhelming response from the fraternity and now it is 2,500+ life members strong.

In addition to Chapters of DTU-DCE Fraternity Forum within India we have overseas Chapters of Forum in Australia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore & UAE. In the new year, we intend to increase the geographical foot print of the Forum both in India and abroad.

In order to help the students we have formed several Committees to strengthen the Forum in achieving it’s objectives.

During the year 2021, the Forum organized various events/activities for furtherance of the objectives of the Forum and benefit of all the stake-holders, most importantly, the students.

➤ On 17^th February, 2021, a Webinar on – “Success Mantras for Civil Services Exam” was organized in which the members of the Forum received guidance & interacted with the CSE-2019 toppers from DTU.

➤ Meeting of young office bearers of the Forum with students of DTU & unveiling of “Souvenir Mug” to commemorate 1500+ life members of the Forum was organized on 10^th April, 2021 at Civil Services Officers Institute, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.

➤ Webinar on “Success Mantras for Admission to Top B-Schools” was held on 29^th May, 2021 wherein DTU students who got admission in top B-Schools shared their experiences and guided the aspiring participants.

➤ DTU-DCE Fraternity Forum celebrated its First Foundation Day on 2^nd June, 2021 wherein an on-line Cultural Evening was also organized in which noted Hasya Kavi Mr. Arun Gemini, Mr. Chirag Jain noted Hasya Kaviyitri Ms. Mumtaz Nasim and Chairperson of the Forum’s Cultural Council Mr. Tarun Gupta entertained the Fraternity with their lively performance.

➤ DTU-DCE Fraternity Forum paid homage to Late Sh. Sushant Singh Rajput on his first death anniversary on 14^th June, 2021.

➤ Webinar on “Success Mantras for Placement in Top Consultancy Firms” was held on 17^th July, 2021 in which DTU alumni selected in top consultancy firms guided the students as to prepare themselves for placements.

➤ National Conference on “Atmanirbhar Bharat: Industry 4.0 – Making India Smart and Intelligent Manufacturing Hub” and function of the Forum was organised on 8^th October, 2021 at Stein Auditorium, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Major highlights of the Forum’s function were :

• Release of Forum’s Brochure

• Launch of DTU-DCE Fraternity Forum’s Mobile App

• Felicitation of Faculty Members of DTU

• Presentation of Appreciation Certificates to the students for their invaluable contributions to the Forum

• Felicitation of DTU Alumni who successfully cracked Civil Services Examinatiuon-2019 / 2020

• Presentation of Appreciation Certificates to student volunteers of RAKT – NSS, DTU

• Presentation of Cheque to DTU Students for their Project of Electric Vehicle

• Award of Student Membership of Delhi Management Association (DMA) to DTU students

The event drew overwhelming response and the participants included Industry Leaders, Awardees, members of the DMA, students and faculty of DTU. It was extensively covered in Times of India. The function was followed by Cultural Programme and Lunch.

➤ On 21^st November, 2021, the Forum organized Golf Tournament at Qutab Golf Course, Saket, New Delhi

➤ The Forum on 28^th of November, 2021, launched an “Automated Resume Builder for creating stunning PDF CVs & Resumes” in association with Resume Partner: RESUMOD. It will be a great help to our students/ alumni in applying for internships and jobs.

➤ We are regularly assisting DTU students to seek internships/ trainings.

➤ To strengthen the networking and instill a sense of pride in the students of DTU, the Forum is continuing with it’s well appreciated series “Know your Alumni” wherein the alumni who have made a mark in their respective fields are introduced and the same is available on our website.

The Forum is planning to organize more such events / activities in the coming months.

We would appreciate and request you to introduce and invite the DTU/ DCEites in contact with you to join the Forum as Life Members. Further, the Forum is also on Facebook & LinkedIn by the same name and also on Twitter (DTUDCEForum) & Instagram (dtudcefraternity) which you may like to join. The Forum is also having its YouTube channel. The details of various events organised are regularly posted on these social media platforms.
