Dechen Wangmo is an international student from Bhutan and a recipient of Indian Council for Cultural Relations scholarship. She is currently studying civil engineering and is from the batchgraduating in 2023. She is presently the President of Bhutan Students Association (BSA), DTUbased in Delhi and looks after the welfare of the BSA members from different Universities in Delhi.She also works as a content writer under Climb DTU, a community of passionate womenencouraging ambition and advocating inclusion in STEM. Besides these, she is also a member ofIndian Association of Structural Engineers ( IAStructE) and has completed online refresher courseon seismic rehabilitation and retrofitting of buildings. She enjoys reading novels, writing anecdotesand watching animes.
